Meet Carolyn

 
 

Carolyn Roosen is on a mission to improve community health one patient at a time. A physiotherapist with over 20 years experience, Carolyn works daily to improve the health and well- being of her patients.

A graduate of Acadia University and McMaster University, she has degrees in Physical Education and Health Science in Physiotherapy. Over the course of her career, she has obtained post- graduate training in Functional Dry Needling, Manual Therapy, Muscle Imbalance Correction, Kinesio taping and Cancer and Exercise. She is also a Scott Pilates trained instructor. She continues specialized education each year for the benefit of her patients.  

Carolyn is an active member of the Nova Scotia College of Physical Therapists, the Canadian Association of Physiotherapists and the Exercise is Medicine Council of Canada. 

When not working, Carolyn enjoys pilates, running, being outside and joining her family for their fun activities such as cross fit, paddling and hockey.  She lives in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia with her husband and two children.
